A Healing Weekend For Bereaved Individuals And Families

The human experience of loss affects the balance of us all. Through creative play, discussions, Jewish ritual and the healing power of nature, this award-winning program is designed to create a safe place to explore feelings and concerns within a sympathetic and supportive community, you'll also find time to reflect on lasting changes in your life and to see beyond the borders of grief.

Highlights include:

  • Discussion groups with professional facilitators
  • Arts and Crafts, creative writing, nature hikes
  • High Adventure Ropes Course
  • Healing Service on the banks of the Tuolumne River
  • Time to talk to each other, your children, friends and family members about loss, death and the grief process
  • Quiet reflective time in a beautiful natural setting
  • Support, caring and comfort

Cosponsored by Camp Tawonga, the Bay Area Jewish Healing Center, a program of the Institute on Aging, the Jewish Family Education Project of the Bureau of Jewish Education and Sinai Memorial Chapel.
