Bryce, Zion, & Grand Canyon National Parks: Rafting; Backpacking; Ruins
The culture and natural beauty of the American Southwest are unique in the world, and this Quest brings you to its crowning jewels. Journey through three time zones, three national parks, abandoned tribal grounds, and some of the most breathtaking scenery in our country.
- Take a hike in Bryce Canyon, and backpack through Zion and Grand Canyon National Parks.
- White-water raft for two wet and wild days.
- Explore ancient cliff dwellings of the Anasazi people at Navajo National Monument.
- Celebrate Shabbat and Havdalah under the Southwest stars on the warm desert nights.
- Beat the heat in hidden swimming holes along the way!

Day hike in Zion and get packed for your next wild adventure! |

Tuesday, July 10 to Friday, July 13 |

Grab your pack and all the food, clothes, and gear you will need for the next 3 days as you begin your backcountry adventure in Zion National Park. This park has it all: waterfalls, canyons, spiraling domes, emerald lakes, and refreshing desert streams! Don't forget your camera!

Explore Bryce Canyon National Park on 2 days of day hikes with amazing views.

Sunday, July 15 |
|
Rise up early for the spectacular colors of sunrise on the hoodoos, portals, and other geologic formations.

Cross a border, change time zones and welcome back to Arizona! Head west to the Navajo National Monument!

|
Explore Anazazi cliff dwellings and discover the mystery hidden in these ancient ruins.

Welcome to the Grand Canyon! This natural wonder of the world allows you to travel back in time as you hike below the rim. Bring out your backpack again and load up with water for a journey into the Canyon!! Then hike along the North Rim or climb the Angel's Landing to witness incredible sunsets.

Cross the deserts, like your ancestors before you, in search of greener pastures back in California. Experience some of summer's hottest temperatures and search for interesting roadside attractions along the way!

The next two days will be a rush rafting through class 2 & 3 rapids. Join professional guides as you shoot through rapids with names like "Troublemaker" on the South Fork of the American River. You're in for a great adventure!
