We have limited space at many of our camp programs, and use a wait list procedure for those who don't receive a spot. Our wait list system is on a first come-first serve basis by day, with no preference given to whether families gift money to our programs or use financial assistance in order to attend them.

If you are placed on the wait list for a Camp Tawonga program you will receive a version of the following letter depending on whether or not you selected a second choice...

We're sorry that the program you selected as your first choice for this summer is already full.

1. You are currently registered for your second choice program as indicated on the enclosed Confirmation Letter and Bill,
   
   and
   
   
2. You've been placed on the waiting list for your first choice program.
   
   
3. If you wish to attend your second choice program, and do not wish to remain on the waiting list for any other program, please let us know right away. Otherwise,
   
   
4. We will call you as soon as a space opens up in your first choice program.
   
   
   • Please call us back within ONE WORKING DAY.
   • If you want the space, we will change your registration from your second choice program to your first choice program, and send you an amended Confirmation Letter and Bill.
   • If you do not respond within one working day, we will assume that you are happy in your confirmed (second choice) program and will call the next family on the waiting list to offer them the space. We understand that this is a rather tight time frame, but it is in fairness to the other children anxiously waiting to hear from us.
   
   
5. We cannot predict when space will open up in camp. However, here are some trends that we have observed in previous years:
   
   
   • Many children on the waiting list do eventually get into camp!
   • Deposits are only refundable until January 27, 2006, so we usually get numerous cancellations at that time.
   • Camp fees are due on March 3, 2006 . We will get several more cancellations then.
   • We receive cancellations right up until camp begins. The longer you can hold on, the better your chances are of eventually getting into the session of your choice.
