Start your Quest for some northern exposure with a plane ride up to Seattle, WA. From here, our road trip cruises through rainforests, mountains, beaches, volcanoes, and more! Introductory sea kayaking and rock climbing ensure an adventure for everyone, while surprise chill-out stops along the way give you time to relax between events. Discover the best that British Columbia has to offer on this amazing adventure through Canada’s Southwest.

• Explore North America’s last rainforest in Washington’s Olympic National Park.
• Sea kayak off Orcas Island in Puget Sound.
• Learn to rock climb from pros in Squamish, B.C.
• Swing by Mount St. Helens on your way home.

Quest Itinerary
NOTE: The following is a synopsis of what this trip will look like. Exact dates and details may change slightly.

SUNDAY
Meet at the Presidio for a shuttle to Oakland Airport, and fly to Seattle. Hop into your van and drive out of town - let's begin our adventures!

MONDAY
Enjoy a light dayhike along the world's longest spit! It's not what you think...

TUESDAY thru FRIDAY
Load everything you will need for the next three days into your backpacks and journey into the wild! Enjoy three nights under the stars in the majestic mountains majesty of the Olympic National Park! Look out for snow capped mountains, elk, deer, and an occasional bear! Get to know your new friends better on the trail, surrounded by nature.

Stop for a visit at Cascadian Organic Farm. Then head North to Canada and make camp at Chief Squamish.

Learn the basics of rock climbing from the Federation of Mountain Clubs of British Columbia and get on belay! Celebrate a special first Shabbat together.

SATURDAY
Join the pros for a second day of rock climbing and rappelling. Use what you learned to reach new heights! Celebrate Havdallah.


SUNDAY
Visit Golden Ears, one of Canada's incredible provincial parks. Spend the day resting on the beach, playing at the waterfall and jumping off rocks at the swimming hole!

MONDAY
Put on your boots and hike up a different side of the park for stunning views, snowfields, and mountain peaks.

TUESDAY
Catch the ferry at Antecortes, keeping a lookout for killer whales and other wildlife on your way to Orcas Island.

WEDNESDAY
Sea kayak with sea lions, seals and the professional guides of Shearwater Adventure. Discover secret beaches and tide pools around the island!

THURSDAY
Climb Mt. Constitution to reach the medieval tower still standing at its peak. Enjoy the view on your last night on the island.
MAIL ! MAIL! MAIL !

FRIDAY
Hop on a new ferry to Port Townsend for a little free time and shopping. Then drive into Olympic National Park for Shabbat in the last rain forest of the continental U.S.!

SATURDAY
Hike through the beautiful rain forests. Maybe take short backpacking trip in this unique ecosystem! Celebrate Havdallah.


SUNDAY
Enjoy a second day in the Olympics. Visit the tide pools, exploring the dramatic coastline of the Olympic Peninsula.

MONDAY
Drop down South heading into Oregon. Pick up your mail and get comfortable because this is a looong drive.

TUESDAY
Continue your journey Southward.

WEDNESDAY
Continuing south, spend your last full day together preparing a spectacular final banquet !

THURSDAY
Have a final day of fun before your last dinner together in a Bay Area restaurant. Say goodbye to your new friends and share all your stories with your family.
