Peacemakers weekend participants begin arriving from the Middle East

The third annual Oseh Shalom Sanea al-Salam Peacemakers weekend starts at Camp Tawonga on Friday, and this year, participants are coming from all over the world.

We are working with an organization called Peace Child Israel, which fosters dialogue between Israeli and Arab youth, teaching coexistence through theater and the arts.

The delegation to Tawonga arrived at SFO yesterday - half Israelis and half Palestinians. They're out on the town today exploring Chinatown and Alcatraz, and having a wonderful time. Palestinian attendees from the West Bank will begin arriving tomorrow.
